Recently, there has been the hearing of the former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University Team doctor Larry Nassar. Maroney wasn’t on the court that day. In October she told he was sexually abusing her when she was only 13.
She shared that started her career at the age of 18 but first took part in the competitions, being 7 years old.
They told Nassar would treat any her injury for her to achieve the Olympic goals. Moreover, he told her that used treatment he was practicing for more than 3 decades. Later she added he wasn’t a doctor but real child molester, even monster…
“He abused my trust. He abused my body”, McKayla Maroney stated.
Maroney is not the only woman to accuse Nassar of abusing her. The list includes another 140 women. In November the doctor pleaded guilty.
The Olympic gymnast confessed about the scariest night of her life. She was 15 years old. The team was flying to Tokyo. He gave her a sleeping pill…then she turned out to be in his hotel room.
Maroney also wrote that Nassar abused her twice during 2012 Olympics. “A simple fact is this: If Michigan State University, USA Gymnastics, and the U.S. Olympic Committee had paid attention to any of the red flags in Larry Nassar’s behavior, I never would have met him, I would never have been ‘treated’ by him, I never would have been abused by him,” reports HuffingtonPost.
