Manila Students Aim For Biggest Art Lesson Record

Almost 17 thousand students gathered in a park in the capital of the Philippines on Saturday with the goal to set a record as world’s biggest art class.

Pupils from two hundred local schools were taught to draw a mask.

Kathleen Pareno, a student who was among others on that day, admitted that she learned a lot.

According to the record organizing team, 16,692 pupils attended the art lesson. The results will be evaluated by representatives of Guinness World Records.

The previous record was set by Indian students in 2014, where an art lesson was visited by over 14 thousand students, reports the Guiness website.
