Next time when you think you are the unluckiest person on the Earth, remember this 20-year-old guy who has been bitten by a shark, bear and a rattlesnake in the last four years. Or maybe it’s the opposite and he is just the luckiest person on the planet?
Dylan McWilliams from Colorado spends a lot of his time outdoors. And he appears to be one of the few persons that make the statistics of getting bitten by a shark yearly!
Last week McWilliams was swimming about 50 yards from Shipwreck’s Beach off Poipu when a shark got his leg. Dylan managed to make it back to the shore and get help. The only thing he was worried about was that the shark could follow his blood track. After examination, it appeared that Dylan required seven stitches but was generally fine.
Mr. McWilliams also shared his other stories. For example, last July he was attacked by a bear that invaded his Colorado campsite. The bear grabbed the back of Dylan’s head and started pulling at him. Fortunately, the young man managed to escape to the camp, where the bear was scared away.
Moreover, more than three years ago McWilliams was bitten by a rattlesnake in Utah. Fortunately, the amount of venom was little, so he recovered quickly.
“My parents are grateful I’m still alive,” he said.
And so are we.
